8 years after the release, new rumours flourish about Daft Punk having produced the entire Discovery (2001) album using a built-in Nintendo sampler. Julia Milan, Thomas Bangalter personal house maid during 1999 – 2003, claims that most of the so called studio time during the Discovery production was spent playing around with this sampling software for Nintendo-Ds. She further explains that Thomas picked-up a Japanese version of DS pocket console when returning home from a yoga summit in Tokyo in late 2000, that he got incredibly hooked on the simplicity of the software and eventually decided to use it for the entire album.
