There is a jungle of music blogs out there. Good and bad ones. This is a quality one. 99% of the material published at HMWL is submitted to us by artists, labels and promotion companies. The rest are rare bootlegs and white labels.

Our philosophy is that the professional musicians and djs will always purchase the music they work with. Meanwhile the fans/kids/grandmothers will always find a way to download the music for free in one way or another. Therefore all the music featured on this site is posted in 128 – 160 kbps range – that works fine on any iPod or houseparty, but won’t get the clubcrowd going.
