Fort Fairfield (Berg Fagerfält?) is a duo featuring two brothers, born and raised in Jönköping, a town located at the south peak of the infamous cold Lake Vättern.

Prenlzauer Berg album is, according to the producers, about attacking the white-collar music business with a blue-collar approach.

The album smells and sounds of concrete suburban romance, slow hitting chords and Görlizer Park spring flowers. It’s a bold attempt to merge Swedish laid-back experimental electronica with Berlinian bohemian deep basslines. If not on the musical, then at least on philosophical level.

Pantha du Prince and his collaboration with the Norwegian group The Bell Laboratory delivers a sneak peak into their much anticipated and too-be-released album called Elements. Scheduled for release on the 15th of January 2013 on Rough Trade records, the album will include five tracks where each name represents a particular element of light.

It’s been six years since there last album Feels Closer from 2006, but in a few days time Layo & Bushwacka will release Rising and Falling on Olmeto. I must say that this is a good one! It has a rich minimal feeling that gets under my skin and I cant really sit still. I cant wait to try this stuff on a gig and see peoples reaction on it.
