Exotic Refreshment house music label is based in Leszno Poland and run by a hardworking young connoisseur label boss called Jakub Kraczewski. Exotic Refreshment promos got a special folder in our inbox since one will always find at least a few quality tracks with every release.

Their most recent 12″ release hit the stores yesterday and features a less known Georgia, Tbilisi-based producer who goes under the name Stimhalt. Today is James Brown‘s birthday anniversary. The Godfather of soul would have turned 80 years if he would still be alive.  Cardiff based Audioplayerz (Grooveland Records) deliver a top notch big room house remake of the legendary Sex Machine with a video with some lovely footage from James’ hectic career. Stockholm based Victor Bergh aka Bergmeister caught our acoustic attention back in September 2012. The Rosamango track with the lovely deep acid inspired bassline might have been featured for free download here on HMWL. Even though both us and Victor would deny it.

So finally we are very happy to see Victor release the mango-track followed by two equally old-school sounding cuts. The flanger cut-up Voodon’t and the Deep and Soulful Deep Disc. Lesale remix brings it even deeper. Rosamango just came out on Canadian Nonlocal records.
