The main Parisian in Dutch house scene is back on 2020. The whole EP feels a bit “too big” with it’s five tracks. All five are very well produced. But it feels a bit like both the producer and the label were a bit in too much hurry trying to figure out which master versions to put on the EP. And finally decided to release all the five tracks.

Sunshine is my favorite with an overall laidback feeling and a progressive percussion that keeps pushing the things forward.

The latest release off Simon Baker‘s acclaimed “Traces” album is a house music gem.  ”Grey Area” incorporates some soulful vibes and classic Frankie Knuckles style sound.  The original version has lounge vibe but, has enough elements to maintain a good danceability factor.  Its jazzy piano breakdown works well in making the song feel vintage yet, modern amongst all the electronic orchestration.
