Stockholm native house producer Mikael Nordgren mostly known under his DJ monicker Tiger Stripes brings us a new mixtape just in time for the weekend.

Tiger Stripes is confirmed to follow Simon Baker and Smash TV, and be the next top underground DJ to mix the ‘Full Body Workout’ series of compilations on Get Physical Music. The compilation will feature carefully selected exclusives from the cream of underground producers associated to the Get Physical family. More details to follow soon..

One of the most important milestones of 2006 was Booka Shade releasing their third studio album – Movements on their own Get Physical label. Inspired by the duos Synthpop roots the full lengther include a bunch of tracks already considered as dancefloor anthems – Mandarine Girl and Body Language alongside the future classics as In White Rooms and Night Falls. Movements was quickly labeled the best electronica album of 2006 and Booka Shades basslines and hypnotic melodies quicky shaped a new turn in the dance music production we had a pleasure to experience during the last few years.

We are extremely happy. Partly since we are a bunch of happy-go-lucky dudes. Partly cause we are über-excited about our party at Culture Box on Saturday. Tiger Stripes is definitely one of Sweden’s most sophisticated producers. On top of that he’s completely on fire at the moment. Additionally we are filling up the “Boxes” with Copenhagens Top names in House & Techno – Tim Andresen, Massimo, Patrick Bateman and last but not least – Brian Fomsgaard!
