Back in the early 1994 Jon Dasilva made one exclusive remix of Colourblinds house cover of 1979 ‘You Gonna Make Me Love Somebody Else’. Being a limited pressing, the track has been played for almost two decades by the DJs lucky enough to have the original vinyl.

Today, it’s about to be released in a completely new form. Maceo Plex and
got into the studio classic house singer Joi Cardwell to re-record once again in a 2012 version with a slight touch of old-school vibes and a signature Maceo bass-line. Official date September the 24th on Ellum.

What we have here is nothing less than a superhot release with the perfect spring/summer funk vibe by wonderboy Maceo Plex aka Maetrik aka Eric Estonel. On “Frisky” he shows the way to the sunniest spots available with the sweetest voice samples and a smooth, warm bassline and synth pads.
