Microzoo records is one the most hardworking labels of the year. (I should make a write up about the three best emerging labels of 2011 in my opinion –  Microzoo Records, Artizan Music and Electronical Reeds).

The Microzoo bosses Elio Krass and Nathan Burns have been busy chasing fresh, characteristic house tracks produced in different parts of the world. And with a great success – 11 releases later the label is still going very strong, with most of the tracks so far being pure to notch tech house picks.

Microzoo is definitely one of the most promising and hard-working record labels of 2011. Based in Montreal, Canada they’ve delivered 10 high quality EPs so far this year.

And Sunju Hargun in my opinion is their most promising artist, with top-notch club tracks Breakfast in Chicago and Mrs and Mr Piyano. Today he’s featured here, with a mixtape specifically recorded for House Music With Love. The podcast starts in a deep and subliminal way only to metamorphosize into a fresh summer night soundtrack. My new favourite Quebec based label Microzoo keeps delivering top quality stuff. The fifth released is out since last week with Sunju Hargun once again mixing his shaman-like jungle beats with I’m drunk and I’m high and I’m in Chigaco acapella sample from the original by Wilson Santos. Sunjus version feels mor compact and deep with Nerd like mumbling “Yeah, What..”elements  that I like a lot.

A surprisingly innovative EP by Bangkok based Sunju Hargun hits the stores on Microzoo tomorrow. An overall afro-house feeling is driven by tribal tracks Sensei and Jungle Tickle, while Mr and Mrs Piyano is a bit more minimal story with a subliminal piano and break filling vocals. Big up!

Microzoo label is a collaboration between two Djs & Promoters Nathan Burns (Montreal) and Elio Krass (France) who after five years of nightclub events decided to move their trademark to a next level.
