The average BPM lost a 10 beats per minute, so even the most lazy clubbers would be able to nod along. Was it just us, or did the club culture become more grown up? Moving from dark basements to lunch-beats, daytime parties in the park and a sunday afternoon straight edge clubs. It was a year of DIY Vinyl labels, Club Mate and H20.

Bobby Womack – Love Is Gonna Lift You Up (Julio Bashmore Remix) (XL Recordings)

The English singer and songwriter Brian Ferry most known as one of the front-men of cult proclaimed Roxy Music is also known for quite a few appearance on electronic dance tracks. He’s been providing vocals for DJ Hell’s – U can Dance and Groove Armada‘s – Shameless. This time he seems to be locked up in the studio Norwegian disco pioneer Todd Terje “making some techno”.
